AdvEn made a follow-up presentation to AI (Alberta Innovates) and SDTC (Sustainable Development Technology Canada).
It answered the 3 major questions raised in our previous meeting: energy/mass balance/ GHG emission calculation, budgeting and marketing analysis. The balance/emission calculation results took most of the meeting time. AdvEn’s process does not generate direct CO2 emission.
At conservative estimates, our process saves energy by over 90% and our whole-life cycle GHG emission is reduced by 30-40% compared to traditional coconut-based processes in producing high-end activated carbons. “GHG emission calculation can be controversial. Our calculation has taken the conservative approach. Still, our process has shown superior advantages.”, Dr. Chen, AdvEn’s CTO added.
